November Update - Exciting Times!

We want to start this update with a huge thank you to the many of you who have been praying for us over the last 13 months about our visa. As many of you know Malawi Immigration, after 13 months from submission, granted us our 2 year visa. This is such an answer to prayer; this has probably been the biggest challenge we have felt since moving here, so to have it resolved and to be living here legally is a huge blessing! Another element of this answer to prayer is that Malawi Immigration were within their rights to backdate the visa to October 2016, meaning upon issue we’d only have 11 months. However they only backdated our visa a few weeks meaning we 2 years where we don’t have to tackle visas again!

We wanted to share some testimonies with you this month as well as share another new & exciting development within our ministry here in Malawi. We both feel since our return from our UK visit we have entered, as prophesied, a season of increased influence and acceleration, and we also feel that Father is also making new strategic connections with people here in Malawi.

We are definitely sensing acceleration in this ministry, we currently have a 6 week waiting list, and we are watching God bring wonderful breakthrough and freedom in each session!
First time session testimony:
My session was deep. I feel God revealed past rejection that needed healing and forgiving and evil connections that needed to be confirmed broken. It was also good to hear God reminding me of His total love and acceptance of me the way He made me. So another step closer to Him, thank you.”
And a lady who had a series of sessions:
I have done Sozo 3 times now and each time God has brought me into a closer relationship with Him and progressively revealed His love for me more deeply. It is liberating!”

New ministry development - We had both felt for some time that God was asking us to create a space for those who are hungry to experience and encounter the Presence of God to come together with no agenda other than saying 'Holy Spirit come'. We launched our monthly Encounter Evenings this month, we invited people who we knew are hungry for this or exploring this area, asked them to invite others who may be interested and opened up our house. It was AMAZING! We had a room full of a variety of people representing around 3-4 different churches, we had people come we'd never met before, but the unity in the Spirit was amazing. Only the week before Father connected us with an amazingly anointed Spirit led worship leaders from South Africa who offered to lead worship, they were so sensitive to the Holy Spirit's leading, very prophetic, & there was such unity in the room, people experienced freedom, intimacy with God, the time flew by & as happens, when the manifest Presence of God arrives no one wants it to come to an end.

Here is a testimony of a beautiful young Malawian lady who was part of the evening:

“Before the encounter evening I was in a confusing space having moments of extreme anxiety without understanding where it’s all coming from and with that came sadness and constantly feeling alone.
I was sceptical about feeling any different going to the encounter evening. As the evening progressed I felt lighter & lighter, the music spoke straight to my heart & I heard God saying to me He is rooting for me and all of Heaven is too. I left a different person that night. I didn’t have all the answers but I knew that with the way the atmosphere was that night it was the beginning of my breakthrough.
A couple of days later I can honestly say I experienced freedom that night & it’s carrying on. I have been sad & felt anxious since that night but when I reflect over what I experienced that night its been giving me strength to keep going & I keep reminding myself that all of heaven is rooting for me so I am not giving up.”

We visit Miqlat’s two Hope Centres weekly to train pastors, but while we’re there we’re spend an hour training and ministering to Miqlat’s Facilitator members of staff. We’ve spent the last 2 month going through the subject of renewing our minds, identifying lies they might be believing, forgiveness & replacing the lies with God’s truth. Here’s a little feedback from the Thucila Hope Centre Facilitators:
Francis – ‘It has been a good topic. I know the devil is a liar, for example, you won’t achieve anything in your life, but God promises us good things and we need to renew our mind to change what the devil is saying to us and remember what God promises to us. I know it is important to say (declare) the good things that God says about us.’
Flossie – ‘This teaching series has been helpful because we were going through some challenges and this teaching helped us to not got into wrong thinking and to renew our mind. We have been sharing this teaching with other staff members at Miqlat and the children, that everyone should renew their mind. We hope to keep teaching others in the community about renewing our minds, getting rid of lies, and believing God’s truth’

We hope you’ve enjoyed reading our update about some of the ministry we’re involved in. If you would like to play a part in seeing the Kingdom of God advance in Malawi there are a few key ways you can play a part:
Pray – stand with us in prayer for the people we are ministering to & pray for us as we serve in Malawi.
Sow financially – Firstly thank you SO much to those of you who already partner with us in this way, we literally wouldn't be doing this ministry without your support!
We are trusting in God’s provision for every area of our ministry, & at times God uses His church family to partner financially with overseas mission. If you would like to sow into this ministry in this way click on the link: https://www.give.net/20189271
Fundraise – If you would be consider taking part in a fund raising activity for His Presence Malawi. It could be taking part in a sponsored run, cake sale, car boot sale & many other options!
