Latest Update from Malawi!

We absolutely love the privilege of being able to serve on the leadership of our local church here in Blantyre, Livingstones Church. One of ways we get to serve is through preaching, and we have had some recent opportunities to share what Father laid upon our heart:

Another way we serve is by mentoring the wonderful Jonah who is also part of the leadership team and has been at the church since it was first planted:

God has given us both such a heart for Jonah and we love our regular times with him on a 1:1 and watching him grow. The Alpha course has only just been translated into the local language, Chichewa, and Jonah having just received the Alpha training, is now leading one of the first ever Malawian Alpha courses in their own language and we’re very proud of him and how he’s stepping out in faith using quite a Western course in the context of Malawi. With our previous experience of leading Alpha courses in the UK we are able to provide him with advice and support as he takes on this new & important ministry! He has a second Alpha course in the pipeline, which will be based in one of the most impoverished parts of the city and we look forward to seeing what God will do through Jonah and his team.

We continue to offer Sozo appointments and have the privilege of seeing people gain inner healing, freedom and increased intimacy with God. A Malawian pastor who regularly refers people in his church to us for a Sozo recently commented to Mark “I walk with people for weeks and months through issues and don’t seem to see any progress, I send them for a Sozo and afterwards they are all like different people!”

This is a great testimony of the power of allowing God to directly minister to people through ministries such as Sozo.
